My Joy. My Grandsons

Being a grandmother has been one of the best things I have ever experienced. The only thing that would make it better is if they lived in Moses Lake so I could have them around even more. Their parent's are great in that they let me come steal them whenever I feel like I need a fix. Tristan is 3 and Angelo is 8 months old..

Hawaii here we come!!!

I am so excited!!! Ken and I decided to go to Hawaii for spring vacation. These pictures are from 2001 when we took the kids the first time. Cameron and Taylor are standing under the sign, and now at 6 ft and 5'10" I don't think that will happen again. I went to school at BYU-H for a year so I really have a special spot in my heart for the people. I also get to celebrate my ?? birthday while we are there. Hurry up Spring break.

Our Miss Outstanding Teen

Our Miss Taylor.. She entered the Miss Outstanding Teen pageant that was held Saturday 7th, 2009. We are so proud of her for her accomplishments and willingness to get out there and try new things. I would of never been able to go out and do what she did and have fun doing it. She meet some amazing ladies and renewed old friendships and made new ones. The best compliment we got that night was from another of the contestant's parents and that was to say that we had one very special daughter. We thing we do, but when others go out of there way to tell us Ken and I couldn't help but smile and beam with pride,. She may of not won, but she did in our hearts.

We learned a lot about being pageant parents and one was that it is very expensive and when you think you have it done, there is always one more things. ---FLOWERS... She received flowers, balloons and goodies from family, friends and the other contestants..
The night started out with a dance routine to the song "All the single Ladies"
I had that song stuck in my head for days before and after the pageant. They looked like they were having a lot of fun up there.

The girls had the main interview earlier in the day, but had to answer two more questions that night.

Showing off the muscles. The teens had to wear outfits that they would work out in and the Miss Moses lake contestants wore the swim suits. I was very thankful we were the ones in the clothes, because some of the swimsuits were.. well what can I say.. left nothing to the imagination!!!!

Taylor sang for her talent and did a great job. She loves to sing..

Happy 16th Birthday Taylor

Happy 16th Birthday Taylor. The time goes by so fast and before you know it they are getting ready to drive and yes date. I still remember when we had the ultrasound and we found out we were going to have a girl. Everyone was excited except Ryan. He so wanted a baby brother to play with that when the Dr. Bradford gave us the news Ryan walked out of the room. The doctor looked at us and ask " was it something I said?". We all got a good chuckle because we knew as soon as he say you he would fall in love and he did. Brooke and Ryan loved having a little baby in the house again and you have given us joy everyday since. We Love you and are so Proud of you.

A friend ask her what she wanted for her birthday and of coarse she said a car. Well he couldn't quite get her that so he sent her the pink roses and matchbox car.

Amy loves to attack Cameron whenever she is around. Cameron usually screams and tries to get away.

Backyard Smores

We just bought this fire pit and had to try it out. We had fun just sitting in out back yard roasting marshmellows and eating smores. I think they are pretty gross, but the kids like them. I love the smell of camp fire and we didn't have to go very far.

The best marshmellow is one that is on fire.. LOL

Yes it was still warm enough for shorts.

I am a GOUGAR !!

Since I have gone back to school I am now an offical WSU cougar. We were able to go to a game at QWEST field (Seahawks) in Seattle and watch the Cougars play against the Cowboys of Oklahoma. We came out on the short end, but we had great weather and fun being with family. Everyone except Brooke was able to be with us. We had her two cute little boys so that kept us busy.
