Randi's Graduation

My neice Randi (my brother Scott's and SIL Kolene's daughter) graduated Saturday at the Toyoto Center in Kenniwick. The place was packed an unlike Moses Lake everyone could come and cheer on their graduate. We were about a 1/2 hour late because I had it in my head they graduated at 2:00 pm and quess what it was 1:00. When we reliezed what I had done (Ken knew the whole time, but didn't say anything until it was almost noon) we jumped in the car and zoomed.. This is a picture of Randi's favorite principle--MR. Chelin (sorry Randi). He use to be the Vice-Principle at Moses Lake High.

They had close to 400 kids graduating. There was a lot of Crimson and Gold down there.
Randi coming though the arch and receiving her diploma. We are so proud of you..
Way to go... GO GIRL

Danielle's Graduations

Moses lake High School graduation June 6th, 2008. Our neice Danielle (Neil's daughter) graduated with 322 of her classmates. It was held out in the gym at the college and only so many fit in there so they have to hand out tickets. The students got 7 tickets this year and the rest had to be picked up at the door.. As space permitted they allowed more in. We were all able to get in and cheer her on.
Here she is walking in. We were afraid she wasn't going to smile, but it came out as you will see in the following pictures.

Your almost there....
Here is the smile..
And the see of MAROON and GOLD.

Receiving her dipolma--GO DANIELLE !!!!!!
The High School Choir teacher with his jazz choir sang "Don't stop believing" and WOW can they sing..
The silly sing came out after the last person received their diplomas. I am not sure the principle was real happy, but they were having fun. The beach balls also were out in numbers.
The proud dad and the new graduate.
The proud Auntie..
As of coarse the pround "soon to be step-mom". One more week untill it is offical.. Alice is hugging her trying to keep warm.. It was so cold that night..

Danielle CONGRADULATIONS and GOOD LUCK IN YOUR FUTURE PLANS.
WE LOVE YOU...

Relay for Life

Our camp area at this years Relay for Life. Every year many teams made up of students from the Key club at the High School, many different business and our team from Samaritan hospital meet for a night of remembering those that have been lost to cancer and celebrated the lives of those who have survived. We raise money as teams and then our goal is to walk from the hours 6pm to 12 (noon) the next day. We stay up to late, try to keep from freezing and enjoy each other company. I have been doing it for 20 years and since Ken and I have been married he has joined the cause.
Kim Loera trying her best to stay warm. Kim is also a 3 time cancer survivor. She is a good friend and an inspiration to all of us.
Ken was trying out or new camera, and I was trying to tell him to point it somewhere else. Taylor and her friends are sitting on the ground next to me.
Yes those are tired eyes and I was freezing. This pictures was taken after midnight and that is way past the time for me to be out.
Fellow campers and walkers. AnnMarie and her husband.

Jennifer Clark who was one of the captains for our team busy handing out the tee shirts.
Mike Leedom (also one of our captains) making sure everyone was feed. He is year after year our BBQ man.
